The thing that was the most interesting to me about this video was the fact that Cuba is a place where it is a place that racism and illiteracy are outlawed in a place and in reality that is not the case. It seems like the whole nation is in a state of doubt? After looking at the history of racism and stereotyping it seems silly to say this place is not racist when I feel as humans we will always have that in our DNA. We as human beings have always had a lust for power has racist views and are sexist beings. It feels almost unhealthy to say it doesn't exist when we all know what the truth is. I do think it is incredibly wonderful to have a program where we are all working together to get a higher reading level. Though everyone learns differently this is a task that is difficult this idea and movement is something that is so special.
