  • The United States has had a interventionist career towards Latinamerica and the world besides their wars their relationship with cuba is a proove of that.
  • Arts have played a major role between Cuba and the US some times as a bridge but also some times as a divisor element. The politics of arts and artist played a parallel game the last 66 years in the creation of two ideologies in regards of power and economics. One good example is the routeand history of Timba a genere that wasnt popular in the world until the late 90´s but existed in cuba since the 70´s. The US floaded the world musical market with Salsa, a clave based genere re created in NYC. Later on we have learned that that was also a political tactic.
  •  Reading the blog questions, I perceive a paternalistic approach as Americans to our relationship with Cuba. I would like to see a Cuba libre, libre de su govierno y libre de Estados Unidos.
