Lauren and I want to create an interactive installation of hanging letters that people in the USA have written to Cuba citizens. A Cuba citizen can walk up and grab a letter and write a response to it. After having letters to both Cuba and US we can display the letters and show how the younger we are we are not influenced by the media, and how different generations how different opinions of their home. An example is we found out that older people tend to have a more negative opinion on Cuba. We also were thinking these would be a good way to connect people and show that most of the time its the position in powers who are conflicting with each other and not the citizens We want to show how different ages of We are still trying to figure out what questions we should have each person response too. I think this would be a great way to connect people from conflicting states.
