Beautiful Trouble.

I found this initiative very enlightening  and creative. It was like a game to see the infinite possibilities of activism with a same goal in the middle: ¨Change¨.
Mass demonstration , flash mobs , performances. Silence. All techniques which I remember using with my high school friends when Fujimori was in power. Also, I remember sniffing  tear gas like addicts at every strike. There is an activist technique that we as a country didn't pay enough attention. It was the act of creating remembrance. Remembrance, is the activist technique of preventing   injustice and perversion to happen through remembering our history of terror. In other words, in the Peruvian case when through demonstrations riots, performances etc, the dictatorship was overcome, nobody made the effort to teach everybody about it.  The result in the next elections will probably be having Fujimori´s daughter in power.  Maybe because of my temperament, I engage with the long process long term activism the one that is like raising a child the one that is not flashy but constant. Can we do activism everyday? I think Activism and art activism should act like a tinnitus in our ears Constantly exposing ideas and action towards social change. Arts brings us a special technology to create awareness and to  unveil social paradigms. Can we help everybody to start questioning themselves their role as artists in their political life?
