The article talks about the process of Obama's new policy with Cuba, that contains different force. The main point of the article is this policy change comes not easy, and it's not only Obama's radical decision, it comes from white house politic interests, human right stander, and economic benefits. The benefits for this new changes obviously has more to do with "foresting greater openness in Cuba" rather than "don't let the back hold us back, looking to the future". As the process itself, a lot the positive, radical, touching images we saw its actually highly artificial manipulated by US and Cuba.
To be honest, when it comes to these complicated political changes, everyone knows what we see it's all a show that they put on. So the fact they evolves pope and artificial insemination is not an actual surprise.
Here are some of my questions:
I feel the article holds an attitude that everyone should know what's the position of US and Cuba of this changes. It's really blurry says how Cuba and US think of this changes, of course its hard process, but as a reader I don't know if Cuba willing to do this change or resist, and what's the reason behind that. It seems like all the difficulties is because prisoner release. But it is just the action, why the prisoner release is so important? What's the motivation behind that? The part the article talks about Marco Rubio aggressively oppose this new changes doesn't even give the reason why. Which make me more confused that he as a Cuba American why he doesn't want this open to happen? According to the article it apparently it benefits more for people who have relatives and family in Cuba. Which make me confused about what is this change going to bring to those two countries? What's going to happen and the reason behind that.
In general, I feel it is an article that has an ironic title and ridicule facts. Sometimes just simply copy what those people behind says, but necessarily lack of the information we need to know about the next level reasons of these political changes, and what is that means to us, to the countries. Otherwise we can just watch the news or gossip magazines. I just think the article like this is supposed to give out the clear fact rather than what we see and make people acknowledge the true reason.
