Radical Hope
3 Questions:
· * How can you “free” someone when their oppression
is linked to their body? Even for only a little while
· * Could the world at large benefit from becoming
“fluent in silence”? The nuances of silence, different types of silence. Know the
silence within ourselves. “A silence of three parts.”
· * How can we help people to lower their defenses?
3 Observations:
· * Think beyond the short term, remember the
positive
· * First and foremost we need to feel
- Working through contradictory emotions is no a
part of our society, where society leaves off we must take up
· * Vulnerability is the precondition to contact
· * The quintessential American narrative is the
quest for home, but that doesn’t just mean shelter, it means intimacy and love
· * If your community is no further then your
injury, then no agency is possible
What might be your vision for radical hope?
· * Guided yoga? Which values silence, the body, the
voice, and cosmic consciousness outside the body. Becoming vulnerable within
ones own body and outside of the body.
