Janet Pi

Hello dear people!

My name is Janet Pi and in Taiwan, people call me Pi Huai Chin (Yes! family name comes before the first name in our culture.)
I'm a BFA4 scenic designer and before coming to the States I studied filmmaking.
I spent my August in Edinburgh as a participant of the fringe festival, and it was incredibly rewarding meeting artists from all around the world who share the same passion towards art and activism.
I've been learning to live in a more sustainable way these past few years, and am co-heading materials collective with Bora this year, where we collect reusable materials such as 2x4s, plastics, metals and provide to students in need for their projects.
I love anything that is squishy and fluffy and I tend to get pretty aggressive about it haha.
