I'm Diana Andrea Soto Teixeira an MFA1 in African Dance and Music. I'm originally from Peru and I have a background in Afro Latin Dance. I moved to the U.S. in 2004 in pursuit of the "American Dream" and after achieving that very prized status I realized that I should have been in the pursuit of the "Diana's Dream." So here I'm after all my immigrant struggles and achievements, pursuing the art that kept me alive all of these years.
