Respond to Braiding Sweetgrass

The chapter talks about the gratitude to the nature, the way it taught at school and students have to learn it. The way we need to learn and agree to the appreciation in a way is the same as political correct. In the writer's own words:"It reminds the whole community that leadership is rooted not in power and authority, but in service and wisdom."

It kind of reminds me some super secret religion society in a TV show called "Helix". They claim everyone is equal, not political power here, everyone appreciate everyone, organic farming etc. However appreciation in this situation became the stander of right or wrong, the power or the judgment comes form here. And from there, the behavior or the attitude people are getting used to is the power and the force to judge.
