I chose to apply my tools to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with an emphasis on the border wall.
Principal: Consensus is a means, not an end
Within the Israeli-Palestinian conflict about the wall, it is impossible to poll the population and get a good idea about what needs to be done. If you tried to find a consensus about what needed to be done you would find that most of the population would be in favor of the wall. The wall's negative outcome is primarily affecting the smaller portion of the population.
Theory: Floating Signifiers
There are a ton of similarities between Israeli culture and Arabic culture. Similarly to how we watched the artist who put the eyes everywhere, a mutual symbol that relates to every citizen of Israel-Palestine could really affect how they look at the wall and also the people on the other side. The separation of the two creates a huge divide between the people and it's not only Palestinians who can notice what's going on
Tactic: Cacerolazo
In my opinion, the best way to change what's happening in Israel would be to have an overhaul of the current government. Rallying the people together to actually accept that they want a different form of government besides a Orthodox-centric establishment could really bring a major change to Israel as a whole. I believe that a disruptive but fun and rhythmic celebration could really rally the people of different cultures together to create a blow-back against what is currently going on. Another thing is that music is a very impactful part of both Jewish and Arab culture and it could really provide change in a constructive and fun place.
